Gas safety specialist, S&S Northern,
has helped Specialist Gas Assessment
Services (SGAS), a training and
assessment centre based on the
outskirts of Blackpool, improve the
training given to gas installers, by
installing well known gas proving
systems in the training facilities.

S&S Northern supplied and
installed a Merlin 2000GD gas
proving system and valves to allow
trainees to see how interlock systems
work in a kitchen; two GSP panels for
industrial boiler houses which allow
trainees to see how gas detectors can
help monitor and control gas and oil
supplies; and a Mini Merlin, a small
domestic panel for CO2 and natural
gas detection.
