The cabinet features a high quality steel frame and a clear, abrasion-resistant polycarbonate window, providing secure protection with a full view of all tooling held within durable two colour tool control foam for instant accountability and inventory management. It also provides immediate visual recognition of tool availability and confirmation that all tooling has been returned.

An additional benefit is its capacity to store not just tools but high value, calibrated or restricted use equipment, at point of use.

Available in two widths of, 34 and 49in, the cabinet can hold, respectively, 70 to 100 tools securely. The Visual Control Cabinet features three levels of security with either Snap-on’s traditional lock and key or the new e-Lock keyless entry system. e-Lock is programmable for up to 3,000 users, providing the option to enhance security without the need to distribute or account for keys and ensuring the cabinet is always secured by its auto lock function that engages automatically when the door is closed.

The new e-Lock features a numeric keypad requiring a 4 digit PIN code per user to gain entry. The unit also houses a close proximity card reader which can be configured for use with or without the PIN for faster access. The Visual Control Cabinet also comes available with Snap-on’s optional LockviewTM software, enabling users to generate a permanent record and auditable data trail of access to the tool box.

Available as either a wall mounted or rolling cart option, the Visual Control Cabinet can be positioned close to the point of use, giving  access to tools at chest height, reducing the need to bend and stretch for tools with full accessibility to the entire tooling with an unobstructed wide opening.
