Trane Technologies appoints Adam Wittwer

TRANE TECHNOLOGIES has name Adam Wittwer as president, commercial HVAC Europe.

Effective from the start of October 2026, Wittwer will report to Jose La Loggia, group president, EMEA and Asia Pacific. In his new role, he will lead Trane Technologies’ Commercial HVAC business in Europe, with responsibility for overall business performance, strategic growth and continued focus on delivering innovative and sustainable customer solutions that help customers improve building performance and resiliency.

"He brings deep commercial HVAC experience, strong operating discipline and a clear focus on customers that will help us grow with speed and deliver greater value for our customers in the region. As demand grows across Europe for more sustainable, energy-efficient solutions, Adam’s ability to lead through dynamic markets and build strong teams will be a real advantage."

Wittwer brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across Trane Technologies, including deep roots in Commercial HVAC and a strong track record of leading businesses through growth and complexity. He most recently led Trane Technologies’ Thermo King Americas business. Previously, he was vice president of energy services for the company’s Commercial HVAC Americas business. He also served as general manager of one of the company’s largest commercial HVAC regions, leading all areas of the business across California and the southwestern United States.

Wittwer holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University Bloomington.
