WHILE MAINTEC is a centrepiece of Manufacturing and Engineering Week, there is lots of other activity taking place that visitors might want to know about across the whole of the week from 5-9 June. As well as Design and Engineering Expo, Smart Factory Expo, Maintec and the Drives and Controls zone other exhibitions are also taking place at the NEC during the week include Automechanika run by Messe Frankfurt; Med-Tech Innovation Expo and TCT 3Sixty from Rapid News Group and Subcon from the Mark Allen Group. 

Innovation Alley

The Made Smarter Innovation Alley is the UK’s leading showcase of all the new and developing technologies that will change the landscape of manufacturing over the next five to ten years. 

Innovation Village

The Innovation Village is an immersive and interactive demonstration area that takes visitors on a journey from fossil fuels to renewables, showcasing the technological advances and capabilities for transforming industry for a sustainable world. Run by the seven High Value Manufacturing Catapult research and technology centres, including the MTC. 

Cyber Zone

The manufacturing sector is now the most targeted for cyber-attacks with risks only likely to broaden with increasing digitisation. Discover how to defend yourself from these attacks by visiting the dedicated cyber zone with key solution providers and demonstrations. 

Solution Theatres

Featuring a wide range of supplier-led presentations which deliver practical solutions to immediate design, engineering, manufacturing and maintenance problems. Get the answers from the experts in real time. Topics covered include Automation and Robotics, Digital Transformation, IIoT and Connectivity, Industrial Data and AI, Innovation and Maintenance. 

Guitar Legends Competition

Competition time! Fancy winning a 3D printing printed guitar? Come and play a 'classic' intro to a song (Think Stairway to Heaven or Sweet Child of Mine) or a classic guitar solo. Entry will be via the M&E Week website. 

Drinks Reception
