IP&E: Which part of your business are you focusing on for M&E Week?

Kris Sage: We are looking to promote IFS Ultimo EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Premium and Enterprise to a host of manufacturing and logistics customers. We have many features that will help them on their Industry 4.0 journey including: Stock Control & Purchasing; Maintenance; Asset Management and life cycle; Visual Planners; Operations Suite; Reporting; Mobile online and offline and HSE Suite.

IP&E: What are your strengths in that area?

KS: Our cloud Platform can be used for all types of assets. It is a fully Saas (Software as a Service) in the Cloud system that has a 99.7% uptime, with continuous delivery updates. It is also compliant to ISO27001/9001, ISAE3402.

IP&E: What challenges are your customers facing?

KS: Our customers are facing the challenge of digitalisation and the fact that they are behind the Industry 4.0 curve when it comes to: Condition Based Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Reliability centered maintenance. IFS Ultimo and our integrations solve these issues as well as addressing: Audit Failure; EHS Issues: Workplace incidents; Compliance; Employee retention and relations, downtime replicating work etc.; Too many systems or processes; Lack of System or process; Poor data or lack of data for reporting

IP&E: What technical, economic or social trends will impact your business in the near future?

KS: Safety and Environmental challenges are becoming more frequently seen topics. Technology is moving faster than most businesses in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. IFS Ultimo R&D develops and innovates, and I would say it is ahead of the game in most cases. You don’t need to look too deeply at our marketplace proposition to see that we are able to move just as fast because of our seamless business integrations.

IP&E What do you want to get from M&E Week?

KS: We'd like to get a mix of a broad range of visitors from Manufacturing, Logistics and Healthcare. We are looking forward to meeting engineering/Manufacturing managers and directors to give us the latest insights. Also, project leaders with a live Asset Maintenance project. From experience project managers are impressed with our fast time to implementation, ease of use, ease of integration and flexibility of the system. Additionally, we’d also welcome the chance to meet with IT and procurement professionals as we are keen to discuss our SaaS proposition and the ROI.
