Now in its sixth year, Sensors & Instrumentation 2015 has a number of new elements added which will further expand and develop this key industry trade show. Highlights include an exhibition of the latest products and technology from more than 100 market-leading suppliers. This will provide visitors with the chance to speak to knowledgeable members of staff about the latest developments and applications, and to see new products and well-established ranges – all in the one venue.

Seminars 

The free to attend technical seminar programme will once again take place over the two days of the show and will include presentations from leading suppliers in the test, measurement and control industry, including DELTA, DJB Instruments, HBM, National Instruments and Sensirion, to name just a few.

Topics to be covered in the seminar sessions include: What drives electrical machines and inverters; Key factors of measurement uncertainty with force measurements; and On-chip temperature sensors with RFID interface for medical devices; among others yet to be confirmed.

This year the seminars will be backed by a new series of high-level keynote and case study led conference sessions taking place in a dedicated theatre within the show. Delegates will hear from leading industry figures on topics such as sensor technology transfer and making machines intelligent, plus many other thought-provoking issues.

Representatives from Cambridge Consultants, General Dynamics, Morgan Advanced Materials, The International Society of Automation (ISA), SICK and Sensor Technology are among those already confirmed to speak.

Seminars sessions are free for all show visitors, with places for the keynote conferences only available to pre-registered visitors who have booked to attend online. As places are limited, pre-booking is advised for both the seminars and conferences.

 

Innovation showcase 

An exciting new addition for 2015 is the ‘Innovation Showcase’. This special display area within the show floor will provide the perfect opportunity for exhibitors, conference presenters and industry leading companies to demonstrate their latest products and innovations. It will be a focal point for the industry to demonstrate the latest developments taking place within this technology driven and growing sector. The Innovation Showcase will be located in a prime position at the front of the show and is expected to be an extremely popular feature with both participants and visitors alike.

Co-locations 

Taking place once again in Hall 3 of the NEC, Sensors & Instrumentation will be co-located with The Machine Building Show, Micro Nano MEMS, TCT, and the PPMA Show. Pre-registered visitors will benefit from free parking (when staying after 3pm) and free Wi-Fi access.
