Control Techniques, a Nidec company, is the global drives specialist with a long entrepreneurial history. Importantly, we benefit from the support of a large international parent company, Nidec, and its other brands.

We have been designing and manufacturing quality variable speed drives (VSDs) for electric motors since 1973. Used by customers worldwide for commercial and industrial applications.

We are a challenger with a big name in the drives industry. We pride ourselves on the service we provide, not only from Newtown in Wales, but also from our 23 drive centres, partners, and distribution network around the world. We are drive obsessed, and our ambition pushes us to be the go-to for drives.

From our general-purpose Commander range, Digitax servo range, specialist drives for pumps, HVAC and elevators through to our high performance Unidrive family; whatever your application we have the answer.
