Crown, has extended its electric counterbalance lift truck offerings with the launch of the Crown SC 6000 Series. The new three-wheel and four-wheel models, with capacities from 1.3 to 2.0t and lift heights to 7.5m, offer a combination of stability, advanced technology and task-focused ergonomics, and are capable of performing a wide variety of material-handling tasks in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Launching across Europe, Crown’s new C-5 Series of gas-powered, four-wheel counterbalance forklift trucks incorporates a Crown-built engine and a rugged powertrain with a lifespan of up to 20,000 operating hours.

The Crown ES/ET 4000 Series of stacker forklifts has earned a Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. This recognition marks the 13th Good Design Award for Crown Equipment.

Crown’s new RT 4000 Series of rider pallet trucks are available as stand-up or sit-down models, both designed to help optimise operator performance and safety. Capable of travelling at up to 12.5km/h, they have a load capacity to 2000kg.

Crown has received nominations for three International Forklift of the Year (IFOY) Awards in 2016 from the international IFOY jury. Nominations are for the Crown C-5 LPG-powered counterbalanced lift truck with hard cabin, Crown RT 4020 stand-up rider pallet truck, and Crown QuickPick Remote solution configured for Dutch supermarket chain Jumbo Supermarkten.

Crown has been awarded a 2016 iF Design Award by iF International Forum Design. A panel of independent experts awarded Crown the title in the ‘Vehicles’ category in recognition of the design of its RT 4000 Series.

Crown has won the coveted International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award for the third time. Crown’s RT 4000 Series of rider pallet trucks took the prestigious award – which was presented at the CeMAT trade fair in Hanover – in the “Warehouse Trucks Lowlifter” category.
