productToolex now makes all of its 30,000 cutting tools to the H4 tolerance of ±5µm; about a twentieth of the diameter of a human hair.

productThe design of conventional taps and dies has changed little since the 17th century, except in terms of improvements in materials and precision. As machining speeds have increased, tool breakage due to the weakening fluted design and swarf clogging have become more of a problem. The new thread milling cutters from Toolex are designed to avoid these problems.
