Drives keep the parlour clean

ST Controls of Alsager has chosen VACON ac variable speed drives for two applications at a dairy farm in Cheshire. The drives are used in the highly automated milking parlour to ensure water delivery at constant pressure to washdown systems, and also power the hydraulic pumps used to operate the individual milking stall gates.
