Markit Economics Purchasing Managers’ Index from Germany’s manufacturing sector soared to a record high of 62.6 in February.

The Manufacturing PMI exceeded expectations set at 60.3, slightly below the previous month’s reading.

Readings above the 50 mark denote expansion and those below it point to contraction.
