Help with surviving the digital storm

A recent survey by independent provider of converged IT and communications, Daisy Group, revealed that almost three-quarters (73%) of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are not taking effective steps to embrace the massive scope for growth offered by the ongoing digital revolution.

With the third most popular barrier to digital transformation being lack of skills and knowledge internally, Daisy Group will be holding a series of events in September open to all businesses to attend, free of charge.

Nathan Marke, chief digital officer at Daisy Group, who will be speaking at the event, comments: “Businesses large and small must embrace digital transformation if they are to grow their share of their market. While the majority of businesses appear to recognise this need to change, a lack of a clear strategy is potentially holding them back from realising the benefits.

“Through embracing technological innovation, business will be able to boost efficiency and drive down costs, but most importantly help them better serve their employees and customers in the future.”

Also speaking at the event is Daisy’s technology partner, Mitel who will be talking through its portfolio of services and how they can be applied to businesses in today’s digital world.

The events are taking place on the following dates:

  • 14 September in Manchester – Great John Street Hotel
  • 28 September in London – Mitel offices, Bishopsgate

Daisy has designed and engineered a set of products and services for businesses of all sizes to help them understand the demands of the digital world.

*The research was carried out by independent market research company Vanson Bourne. Respondents comprised 200 senior IT decision makers from large enterprises and SMBs in the UK.
