Hybrid training solutions
FOR MORE than 15 years, the RMS Reliability Training Institute (RTI) has offered Condition Monitoring and Reliability public hotel-based and private onsite courses, predominantly in the UK and Ireland.
With the global pandemic necessitating instant and dramatic changes to the normal way of delivering training, the RTI, together with support from its partners BINDT and the Mobius Institute, developed a new study variation to support both organisations and students.
Taking the Mobius self-paced video courses, the RTI added, at no extra cost, an online community space to meet others studying at that level. The community offers regular live calls and options to arrange personal mentoring with the instructor.
In the latter part of 2020, the RTI further invested in the online study variation as a response to continued hotel-based course disruption, offering a Virtual Instructor-led course. The first of this course type was offered in early 2021 and the RTI has now successfully completed a number of virtual instructor-led courses, all with very positive student feedback.
Today, the RTI offers a new ‘trial’ virtual-study variation, hybrid training. For those who want, and can attend the public course, that’s great. For those who can’t attend in person, you’ll now be able to join the same hotel-based course, albeit virtually, and in accordance with the virtual instructor-led requirements. Stand 127
