Siemens will be sponsoring this year’s Smart Product Award, one of eight ‘gongs’ handed out to innovative manufacturers at the EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards.

The Smart Product Award goes to the UK manufacturer judged to have most successfully designed and delivered a new product to market that has also driven innovation in manufacturing. The product could be an intelligent, efficiency or decision-making device which Siemens, with its strong track record of producing energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies, is ideally placed to judge. 

In total, there are eight different awards, allowing best-in-class manufacturers to showcase their achievements in a range of key areas. These include strategic growth, exporting, investment in skills and training, reducing environmental impact, health and safety, operational excellence and developing partnerships with education. There are also awards for outstanding apprentices.
