Nexos Group rebrands with full-service energy offering
AS DEMAND for resilient and lower-carbon power infrastructure accelerates, Nexos Group has brought together its specialist consulting, engineering, power technology and delivery expertise into one integrated identity

The move sees Nexos Power (formerly Powerstar), Nexos Consulting (formerly OSL Consulting Engineers), Kelton and Nexos Solutions come together as Nexos Group.
“It’s about giving our customer base a cohesive platform through which they can access our full-service offering. By operating as one group, we’re making it simpler and clearer for clients to engage with us, regardless of the solution they require,” said Nexos Group CEO Dan McAteer.
The need for behind-the-meter and off-grid power solutions underpins Nexos Power’s central role within the group.
“Nexos Power, formerly Powerstar, has extensive expertise in helping customers reduce energy demand while improving resilience and stability. That capability is becoming increasingly important as organisations look for greater control over their energy infrastructure,” McAteer continued.
The new group structure means that Nexos Power’s existing customers can now engage with a single group capable of supporting projects end-to-end, from feasibility studies and front-end engineering through to power system design, battery energy storage deployment, transformer solutions and project delivery
- Nexos Consulting: engineering expertise to help clients understand their challenges and identify opportunities with technical insights that provide the clarity and confidence to take projects forward
- Nexos Solutions: engineering, procurement and construction expertise across the energy, infrastructure and power sectors, bridging the gap between strategy and project execution to transform ideas into operational reality
- Kelton: specialist measurement that supports the safe, efficient and compliant operation of energy infrastructure to help customers make informed operational, commercial and regulatory decisions based on trusted data
The company said the rebrand extends beyond simplifying the business’ market presence. “The ambition is to be recognised not simply as a service provider, but as a long-term partner capable of helping customers navigate an increasingly complex energy landscape,” Nexos said in a statement.
