GNB Corporation, a manufacturer

services.When it realised weld
preparation and set-up times were
higher than actual welding times it
invested in a WARDJet 5-axis
waterjet cutting machine. As a result,
it has cut production costs and
increased material utilisation rates.

One of the challenges for GNB
was the angle valve product line.

GNB used to make the body of the
angle valve by coping the tubes by
hand using a printed paper template,
an expensive process.With waterjet,
it accomplishes the task quickly and
with exacting precision and has
virtually eliminated the grinding of
weld preparations.
