The company explains that no
back-up pad is needed, as it is an
integral part of the product which
means there is no problem of overheating
the back-up pad.

With the benefit of a long lifetime,
tool changes are minimised,
efficiency increased and process
times are said to be significantly
reduced.

The structure of the natural fibre
disc is made of environmentally
friendly natural jute fibres; resistant
to humidity the discs provide a semirigid
structure which allows easy
usage on uneven work pieces. In
combination with the heat-resistant
back-up pad this provides high
performance over the product’s
lifetime. A further benefit is that it is
recyclable.

Available in three specifications
and three sizes, Tyrolit says there is a
disc suitable for all applications.
