The latest version of the
AccuStream Abrasive Regulator
is now available.With abrasives
accounting for a large percentage
of any abrasive waterjet cutting
operation, the Abrasive Regulator
2 offers high accuracy in the
dispensing of abrasive so
consumption is
optimised in accordance
with the cutting
operation being
undertaken.

The regulator can be fitted to
new waterjet machines with an
AccuStream intensifier and
retrofitted to most other leading
waterjet manufacturers’ products.
The Abrasive Regulator 2 has 30
different precision settings for flows
of 0 to 500g of abrasive per minute.

This finely tuned delivery can also be
adjusted with no interruption
to the cutting process. The
adjustments are made instantly
through a turn of the highly
accurate dial. This accuracy is in
contrast to some older abrasive
regulators, which only have one
setting for abrasive flow.

In operation, an acrylic
canister gives the operator
visual confirmation of
abrasive delivery. There is a
simple air-to-open and air-toclose
control and a built in
backflow diverter.
