and users of machinery that they
must still take steps to assess and
control risks associated with electromagnetic
fields, even though the
publication of the Physical Agents
(Electromagnetic Fields) Directive
has been postponed until at least
2014. The delay does not absolve
machine manufacturers from their
present day responsibilities.

Laidler Associates says factories
may have equipment that has never
been assessed for EMF performance,
which means employers will have no
indication of whether or not they
have a problem until it is too late.

consultancy and assessment services
for equipment suppliers and users.
