Loctite 2400 and Loctite 2700
threadlocking adhesives from Henkel
have been granted WRAS (Water
Regulations Advisory Scheme)
approval, allowing them to be used
with potable water. Demonstrating
that the products do not contaminate
water, this approval is in addition to
the existing qualifications for white
Material Safety Data Sheets. This
means that according to EC
Regulations No. 1907/2006 – ISO
11014-1 neither adhesive carries any
hazard symbols, risk or safety phrases.

Loctite 2400 is fluorescent blue with
a viscosity of 3000mPas and a shear
strength on steel of 9N/mm. The highstrength
Loctite 2700 is fluorescent
green, has a viscosity of 500mPas
and a shear strength of 18N/mm.
