Sentry Protection Products, with its
Collision Sentry collision warning
device, has been voted the IMHX
2013 Design 4 Safety Awards’ overall
winner. This follows success earlier
in the week when Collision Sentry
won the top award in the technology
category of the competition.

The device was judged to have
provided the strongest evidence of
making a contribution to the level of
safety, or the rate of incident reduction
in materials handling operations.

Using infrared motion detectors to
‘see’ around corners, the easy to
install device helps reduce or
eliminate blind corner collisions by
visually alerting forklift drivers and
pedestrians to approaching traffic.
