Contact Attachments has designed a
bespoke Forklift Transfer Platform
for Guernsey Electricity to help safely
transport pallets of equipment and
white goods from containers to storage
points at its Northside warehouse.

Jason Cadman, technical sales
consultant at Contact Attachments,
said: “Our usual Forklift Transfer
Platform has a ramp front which
enables easy loading and unloading.

“The one we sold to Guernsey
Electricity had some safety-securing
chains at the front, rather than a
ramp. After carefully considering the
customer’s requirements, we built two
standalone ramps that can be bolted
to the floor and easily allow the
contents of the containers to be safely
rolled on and off the platform.”
