British Safety Services (BSS)
has been selected by the
National Examination Board
in Occupational Safety and Health
(NEBOSH) to deliver two new
courses. Successfully piloted in Libya,
the courses will be officially launched
in June.

The first is the NEBOSH Award in
Workplace Health and Safety course,
set at a level below the National
General Certificate. It is aimed at
skilled workers and supervisors and
offers a general introduction into
workplace health and safety.

The second course, the NEBOSH
International Certificate in
Construction Health and Safety is
developed to help construction
professionals working overseas.

The courses that took place in
Libya were held in conjunction with
Green Land Oil Services & Supplies
Co. Sixteen delegates attended from
various oil companies keen to meet
international safety standards and
safeguard the safety of Libyan and
foreign workers in Libya.

BSS has offices in Qatar, Dubai,
Yemen, China, Libya and Algeria.

Specialist staff have a detailed understanding
of each country’s cultural
issues as well as specific industry and
country safety requirements.

Instructors are all qualified to
NEBOSH standards and have a
minimum of 15 years experience
