A new Centre of Excellence has been
opened by Kimberly-Clark
Professional at its mill in Flint. The
facility will be used as an internal
and external learning hub to train
both new and existing staff, as well as
distributor sales representatives.

Flint is the fourth such site
established by the company and joins
those in Koblenz, Nancy and Moscow.

At the core of training modules
offered is the ‘Exceptional
Workplaces’ mission, designed to
transform the way the company
serves its customers. It covers
everything from product development
to how products are taken to market.

The strategy will be implemented
via platforms, such as ‘The Healthy
Workplace Project’, designed to boost
the general wellness and engagement
of employees. Another key platform
will be the ‘Efficient Workplace’,
designed to help industrial customers
increase productivity and cut costs.
