Pilz Ireland was established in 1998 to serve the market on the island of Ireland and to
provide Pilz with access to talent to support the ongoing development of Pilz automation
products and the engineering services business.

The Pilz Ireland headquarters are in Cork and are now home to the global Software Tools
Development Division and the Pilz International Services Group (ISG) in addition to the
Sales and Services operation servicing Irish customers. ISG researches and develops
services in the fields of automation and machinery safety. Together, Pilz Ireland and ISG
coordinate and project manage the delivery of projects for Pilz International customers in
locations from Iceland to South Africa and from Belgium to Brazil.

John McAuliffe, Managing Director, Pilz Ireland, expressed the value Pilz places on the

The award comes in the year Pilz
celebrates 15 years of continued growth in Ireland. The company has indicated that it is close
to completing contract discussions which will enable it to acquire high technology
facilities to allow for continued expansion.
