Studies into hand washing have
shown that people do not wash their
hands often enough or
effectively enough. On
average, the length of
hand washing time is
about 9sec and just
16% of people wash
their hands for the
correct length of time.

In addition, says
Deb separate
washroom studies
have shown that only
78% of people wash their hands at
all, so one person in five is walking
about with unwashed hands.

good hand hygiene by providing
easy-to-understand
awareness materials such
as posters and stickers
for the washroom. The
