Personal care company Potter
& Moore Innovations, is buying
two Linx CJ400 continuous ink
jet printers after trialling them
to print codes onto different
sized plastic bottles containing
shampoo, foam bath and
talcum powder, using Linx
T551 Black high speed ink.

The printhead prints
upwards onto the base of the
PP/PE bottles and codes a
single line batch code, with
lines running for up to
80h/week.

The Linx CJ400 has shown
it can maintain reliable, clean
running even within dusty
talcum powder lines.

The Linx CJ400’s 13.5kg
weight makes it easy to move
between lines and it can store
messages for up to four lines.

The printer offers threemonth
intervals between
printhead cleaning. Its Easi-
Change Service Module can
be changed in minutes using
on-screen prompts. Scheduled
maintenance is achieved
without the need for a trained
technician or service calls.

On-screen trouble shooting
can solve the majority of
operating issues without the
need to consult manuals.
