technologies, EARS UK
offers the ‘Exhausted Air Recycling
System’ (EARS); an air tool solution
that is said to improve productivity,
save energy, and enhance workplace
health and safety.

Available as a complete compressor
system, or as a retrofit option with
adaptors to suit most proprietary
compressors and air tools, the EARS
system provides a closed loop
between air tool and air compressor.

Exhausted air is captured after
powering the tool and returned to
the compressor via the EARS
manifold. Supplementary
atmospheric air is only used when
the system is ‘charged’ and when
additional ‘top-up’ air is required.

An additional benefit of the totally
sealed air return system is noise
reductions of between 70 and 80%
with no exhausted air emitted to
atmosphere. Other benefits claimed
include: Up to 80% improvement in
compressor efficiency, energy
consumption reduced by 40% yearon-
year, and longer compressor life.
