A new product on the production line every 30 minutes; what was considered an exception a few years ago is becoming increasingly daily life. Plant manufacturers are faced with the challenge of maximising the flexibility of their plants. Many suppliers solve this task through consistent modularisation and the intensive use of state-of-the-art control and servo technology.

LinMot meets the designer on this level with the PR01 and PR02 series of purely electrically driven linear rotary motors. A linear motor, a rotary motor and force compensation for the vertical load mass are integrated in a compact housing. The drives can be positioned completely independent of each other or synchronized by means of a higher-level control system. With the help of the optional torque sensors, closure, assembly and bolting applications can be implemented very precisely within a narrow tolerance range.
