Boge believes additional energy
efficiencies can now be realised with
its compact CL series of screw
compressors. The 7.5-15 kW models
now come with optional built in heat
recovery. A high percentage of the
heat generated during compression
can be reclaimed and directed to
heat workshops or warehouses, or
even to heat domestic water.

Boge says up to 85% of the
nominal drive power of an oil
lubricated screw compressor can be
reclaimed using a heat exchanger
which can lead to savings through
heat recovery.
