The RTITB Operator of the Year
competition is open for entries until
14th February 2013. Sponsored by
Toyota Materials Handling UK, TNT
Express Services UK and Ireland and
Calor Gas, the competition is open to
all counterbalance operators who are
registered on the National Operators
Registration Scheme (NORS).

The first stage is an online theory
and hazard perception test, made up
of multiple choice questions, video
clips and images. Just entering at this
stage could result in one operator
winning an iPad mini. To enter online

Those with the highest scores will
be invited to attend heats at the IMHX
(NEC, Birmingham) from 19th-22nd
March 2013. The two highest scoring
operators will be announced at the
end of each day. The top two qualifiers
from the four days will progress to the
Grand Final where the winner will
receive a car, runner-up
a luxury holiday
and third place
£1000.
