Venture Lighting Europe has supplied
its Uni-form Pulse Start 200W lamps
and control gear as part of an ‘energy
saving conversion kit’ to the Novelis
plant in Bridgnorth, where rolled
aluminium is manufactured.With
only Phase 1 of the project complete,
the company reports a 50%
reduction in kW running costs.

The Uni-form Pulse Start 200W
lamps operate on a reactor/ignitor
ballast system and can be supplied as
an energy saving kit that is easily
retrofitted to existing fittings and
which could be quickly installed into
the company’s low bay luminaires.

in relation to light levels, reduction
in maintenance costs and energy
savings achieved and are already in
the process of converting another
area of the building with the Venture
