The partnership will enable Silentbloc to combine its expertise in vibration control and intelligent management systems with Reich Drive Systems’ knowledge of the power generation market, to help the two companies develop a complete coupling and vibration engineered kit solution.

Both Silentbloc and Reich Drive Systems provide bespoke engineered solutions to a range of markets including rail, aerospace, and off-highway, and the product ranges manufactured by each company are complementary in many areas of application. This strategic partnership will enable the two businesses to pool resources, knowledge and expertise to continue to manufacture the innovative, high performing, and reliable solutions that both businesses are internationally known for. 

With traditional coupling and vibration solutions, both the coupling and the engine mount have vibration reducing roles. However, by working together to design and manufacture a complete engineered kit solution, the two businesses says they can pass on improved system performance, and a reduced lifecycle cost to customers. The new product is said to be highly effective for the power generation market where custom engineered, high performance, long life products, are required to eliminate the risk of failure.
