provide flexibility
and radial
misalignment
compensation in high power
transmission systems but until now
were not suitable for applications
involving lateral misalignment.

The new Cardan Curved Jaw
Coupling changes this. It achieves its
flexibility by means of a resilient,
plastic element sandwiched between
aluminium hubs. It allows the coupling
to transmit high torque, to 150Nms,
with little or no backlash, even when
there is significant misalignment.
