Cuts heat loss

Biddle explains that on a typical
winter’s day, a factory that uses a
standard doorway of about 4m wide
and 6m high, will lose more than
100kW of heat as soon as the doors
are open. With a correctly installed
air curtain, more than 80% of this
energy can be retained inside the
building, cutting energy bills.

Biddle’s IndAC is designed for use
in an industrial capacity and uses
double rectifier technology to
minimise turbulence in the discharge
air stream and surrounding air. Air
directed downwards from the fans is
powerful enough to seal the open
doorway, eliminating draughts and
reducing energy consumption.

The IndAC can be positioned
horizontally or vertically and is
offered in widths of 1.5 to 2m.
