Linx Printing Technologies has
launched a new thermal inkjet (TIJ)
printer that, it says, ensures the first
print is as good as the last.

The Linx TJ725 has
Simply Smart
Technology to offer
a high resolution,
digital solution for
coding onto outer
cases, boxes, shelf ready
trays and packaging.

Supplied in just a few pieces,
the printer is simple to fit
without needing a service engineer
or specialist installation tools. No
training is needed.

Linx’s new Active Cartridge Care
System is said to save money and cut
waste by slowing the nozzle drying
process, making first prints more
reliable. Nozzles are covered and
protected when not in use
and uncovered
automatically when the
first product is sensed.

The unit can sense how
much ink is left and
forecast the number
of prints remaining.

The replaceable
ink cartridge with
integral printhead
is said to be key to
efficiency; there is no risk of
printhead repairs or replacement.
