Section 13(1) b of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires that employees reporting under the influence of intoxicants are removed from their place of work and are provided with reasonable accommodation. This accommodation will require initial assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for alcoholism and other addictions.
