Huntsman Advanced Materials has
received approval from Germanischer
Lloyd (GL) for Araldite AW 4856/
Hardener HW 4856 Fast; an epoxy
adhesive system designed for the
manufacture of wind blades and large
composite parts.

Araldite AW 4856/Hardener HW
4856 Fast has been certified by GL as
a Duromeric Adhesive, comprising
good thixotropic and low exothermic
properties. Offering increased
toughness and fatigue resistance in
applications requiring load bearing
strength, this adhesive is also said to
provide excellent adhesion under
adverse application conditions.
