COOPER Crouse-Hinds has added
to its eLLK 92 range of explosionproof
fluorescent light fittings. The
new eLLK 92 DCA has an integrated
AC/DC module that enables
connection to 220V central batteries.

The module is integrated to the
electronic ballast (EVG). The eLLK 92
DCA is a cost effective option for
users who do not require individual
monitoring, only circuit monitoring.

Protected to Category II 2G Ex d e
IIC T4, the device functions as a 2-
lamp AC mains light fitting. In the
event of a changeover to DC supply
via the battery, the eLLK 92 DCA
switches to single lamp operation in
its emergency lighting mode. In this
way, power consumption for the
battery is halved, while luminance
intensity is reduced.

Fittings are made from high grade
plastics and have been tested in many
chemical and offshore installations.
