work off-shore on oil rigs, for
example, can get from the boat to the
platform safely.

Ascent Safety, which provides safety
training for demanding
environments.

OSCAR is a fall arrest block
especially adapted for tough climates
where equipment is exposed to salt
water, wind and rain. The special
structure surrounding the block
makes it completely waterproof,
which in turn means it does not rust.

OSCAR is reported to be of such
good quality it only requires visual
and functional checks once per year
and recertification at a service centre
every six years.
