The facility uses a selection of equipment from the Guttridge Carier range for transportation of material, managing the bulk intake and bulk outloading. 

“Guttridge has a good reputation and offers excellent service,” said Mark Temple, global sales manager, Chief industries UK. “It is a solid, established company and it’s great to be able to offer a fully UK engineered project.”

The facility was completed in three months, commissioned as planned during the maize harvest and operates reliably. Rapid growth at Chirina has led to further expansion and phase II of the project is underway, with the same partners contracted for the job.
