It is suitable for use when immediate, unplanned cleaning is required – as in the case of breakdowns, for example – as well as part of pre-commission cleaning programmes for new chiller or boiler installations. 

It is said to deliver a powerful, penetrating cleaning action for the removal of iron oxide and calcium-based deposits from the entire circuit including heat exchangers and pipes.  This not only restores full circulation within the pipework – meaning pumps do not have to work as hard – but improves heat transfer efficiency. In addition, Senticlene 8500 contains special inhibitors to protect all metal surfaces from corrosion during cleaning.

The composition of Senticlene 8500 allows it to perform under neutral pH conditions.

This eliminates the need to clean with conventional acids – and hence avoids their associated hazards – and removes the need for complicated neutralising procedures. The product is suitable for use with all common metals and alloys, including aluminium.
