By developing a new generation of
bactericide-free cutting fluids, Henkel
is reported to have succeeded in
banishing the drawback of emulsions
splitting in use and the related bad
odour nuisance. These new emulsions
are said to have proved themselves in
industrial practice.

After intensive development work,
Henkel formulated a microbiologically
robust cutting fluid that
contains no bactericides (such as
formaldehyde splitters), and does not
need any later addition of
bactericides to keep it stable. The
new product is suitable for many
different kinds of machining – from
roughing to grinding.
