Heat Transfer Systems has launched
HTfluidfit, a process that conditions
thermal fluids within an operating
system, an innovation that, says the
company, could save UK
manufacturers hundreds of millions
of pounds every year.

Traditionally, maintaining fluid
condition has been achieved by total
replacement of the fluid which may
be needed as frequently as every two
years.

HTS has developed HTfluidfit in
partnership with the UK division of
multinational Flamco. HTfluidfit
conditions
thermal fluids
within the
operating system,
extending the life
of the fluid up to
10-fold or longer.

Benefits claimed
include cost
savings, lower
risk, improved
safety and
reduced carbon
emissions and waste.
