Two cleaning products from
manufacturer of non-toxic,
biodegradable cleaning solutions,
Envirionix, have recently passed food
taint tests conducted by Campden
BRI to BS EN ISO4120: 2007
Envirionix ES Cleaner and Stain
Remover, together with Envirionix
QA combined cleaner and
disinfectant, met the requirements of
the standard and as a result are safe to
be used on any surface in contact with
foodstuffs.

“A number of blue chip food
manufacturers have requested food
safety testing by Campden BRI,” says
MD, Brent Dunleavey. The
companies have been evaluating
both products against the usual
caustic products and have concluded
that the cleaning power
demonstrated by Envirionix is such
that food safety testing would be the
final piece in the jigsaw.”
