the Rapid Vario-FS metal detector
from S+S Inspection provides front
line protection for production
machinery by detecting and
removing the smallest magnetic and
non-magnetic metal contaminants
from regranulated and virgin
material and other bulk, free-falling
material before the material reaches
the production process.

Suitable for checking all types of
feed stock, especially recycled
material, contamination removal is
achieved quickly and without holding
up flow of material to the production
process. The flexibility of the twopart
modular design, standard Jacobs
connectors and small overall height
allows the detector to be integrated
easily into free fall pipes, cyclones,
vacuum conveyors and dosing and
blending equipment.

The detection unit and ‘Quick
Flap’ reject mechanism are selfcontained
units. The reject outlet can
be positioned in any direction and the
drop height adapted to suit the user.
