The CFG+ from Mecmesin is a low
cost digital force gauge designed for
simple tension and compression
tests. Based on the company’s
Compact force gauge model, the
CFG+ retains the lightweight plastic
housing, accuracy of 0.5% of full
scale, display of peak hold in tension
and compression, and tests in a
range of measurement units,
including N, mN, lbf, ozf, kgf and gf.

The addition of an RS232 port
enables easy transmission of data
from the gauge to a peripheral
device, such as a PC for storing and
evaluating the results further.

The device ensures quick, easy
force application tests in the field
and can also be mounted to a test
stand for in-house testing of noncritical
applications. It is available in
three capacities – 50, 200 and 500N
and comes with a set of accessories
to facilitate immediate testing.
