Glow in the dark step cover
FibreGrid’s latest innovation is SlipGrip Safety Glow step covers. During daylight hours, the contrasting colour 55 x 55mm nosing is white or yellow (which makes it DDA compliant), but when darkness falls the glow in the dark coating comes into its own, giving off light for up to 8h.
Nowadays, many places aren’t always lit at night so the light these step covers emit enables users to locate the step edge.
FibreGrid says that on the industrial side, loading bays, stairs, ramps and fire exits would all benefit, particularly – for example – in the event of power failure. The chemical resistance is also useful.
SlipGrip Safety Glow is available in medium or coarse finishes, depending on foot traffic. Both carry a 10 year guarantee against breakage.
