the oil and gas industry
wanted a hard-wearing floor
finish that was easy to
maintain for its manufacturing
facility in Lincoln. Having
considered the possibility of
a resin floor the company
contacted The National
Flooring Company to
discuss the options.

Following a consultation
and site survey, National
Flooring specified the
Degafloor QT system. The
system incorporates a mix of
resin and aggregate, which is
trowel applied at a nominal
thickness of 4mm to provide
a durable finish. The texture
can be varied to suit
requirements and, as the
manufacturing at the facility
is a dry process, additional
seal coats were applied to
provide a smoother finish.

The QT system cures fully
within 2h of installation.

The floor at Destec
Engineering was completed
in a weekend and fully cured
before the Monday morning.
