In a stainless steel housing, the new
P12 series pressure sensors from ifm
electronic can be used as simple looppowered,
two-wire transducers or as
three-wire switches. A high visibility
LED display works in all modes.

The device is offered with standard
conical G1 process connection
(P128) or with adaptable Aseptoflex
Vario thread (P127). The latter can
be combined with one of many
process adapters conforming to the
commonly used hygienic standards.

As hygienic instruments for food
and other processes are often
exposed to high temperatures, the
P12 series is designed with a high
temperature medium rating to 145°C
and is suitable for SIP and CIP. Units
have EHEDG, 3A, FDA approvals.
